Hey this is Archblake. Well I have some bad news, while telling Hazu, I was gonna go down to the store real quick and start up a Forest run for rappys and ragnes. My computer froze up, and a very loud clicking sound was coming from my hard drive. On reboot, I got a message saying failed to load OS and the clicking sound was still coming from the hard drive. I'm currently have a older hard drive in, which is running XP. Trying to figure out if I can manage to salvage anything off the hard drive, especially PSO. Cause I'm convinced the hard drive is gone. So I'm Sorry Hazu, I didn't ditch you. And I will be back on the game as soon as possible.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that, Arch. I do hope to see that you can salvage what you can and will return to us soon enough.

awwww thanks. As it turns out until I can get a new hard drive. Gonna download, and upgrade to windows 8 my drive has enough space for it. then tranfer to the new drive once I get it. I should have enough space on my drive to redownload PSO 2 just gonna take forever to download.

no worries, I'll be back before you know it. Windows 8 is about 20gb in size, I only have a 30MB connection speed, it's super fast but 20gb is going to take a few hours at the least. this is microsoft we're talking about so it could take much longer. as for Pso 7gb should take about an hour or so to download.

Hopefully you'll be able to get everything sorted out soon. Seems like you got most of it done though already lol.

Yeah when it comes to getting my computer back up and running, I don't waste any time. Granted I have to settle with a 80gb drive for now till I can get a new one. Main thing is it's running, and I'm not quite sure what I think of Windows 8 yet. Feels like I have to relearn Windows all over again.

I'm really not used to not having a start menu anymore, instead I have a start page... You can access your desktop from the start page.... and if you need to access your hard drive you have to right click on the start page. A bar on the bottom pops up, and you click on the icon that says all apps. Took me a half an hour to figure that out....

We have a problem Empty ***UPDATE***

Post  Archblake Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:14 am

Well my pains of having to deal with an old 80gb hard drive are finally over. I have a new 500GB SATA drive installed and Everything is copied over to the new drive. So my computer is back to running at the capacity it should. Granted 500 isn't as big as 700 but hey I was barely using a quarter of the 700 so losing 200 isn't that big of a deal to me.
